Description
Uinuk (historical) is located on N shore of Norton Sound, at mouth of Nome River, 4 mi. SE of Nome, Seward Peninsula High.
History
Former Eskimo village reported in 1880 by Ivan Petroff as "Oo-innakhtagowik", population 10, in the 10th Census.
