Heading in a cirque in the S part of the Clearwater Mountains and flowing SW, then S, to the Susitna River, 3 mi below the mouth of Nowater Creek, 25 mi. N of junction of Oshetna River, Alaska Range
History
Named in 1954 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) because a "Geological Survey Party utilized the stream to 'raft' supplies and boats to the Susitna River for a river traverse."
