Description
In the Talkeetna Mountains, flowing NE to the Little Oshetna River, 23 mi. NW of Tahneta Pass, 102 mi NE of Anchorage, Talkeetna Mts. 7 miles long.
History
Named in 1956 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for the thick conglomerate rock beds through which the stream has cut.
