Description

In the Talkeetna Mountains, 3 mi NW of the confluence of Flat Creek and the Little Nelchin River, 17 mi. N of Tahneta Passand, 67 mi W of Gulkana.

History

Descriptive name given by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1956 because it is a conspicuously whitish mountain of limestone.
