Description
In the Talkeetna Mountains, between the Little Nelchina River, Horsepasture Creek, and Little Oshetna River drainages, 19mi. NW of Tahneta Pass, 97 mi NE of Anchorage.
History
Named in 1956 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for the open grassy areas at this pass.
