Description
In Talkeetna Mountains, flowing NNW to Limestone Gulch 1.3 mi SSW of Limestone Gap, 15 NW of Tahneta Pass, and 93 mi NE of Anchorage, Talkeetna Mts. 1 mile long.
History
Name in 1964 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) derived from an important ammonite (fossil mollusk) locality at the head of the creek.
