Description
Crater Creek is located flows SW 16 mi. to Black Lake, 28 mi. NW of Chignik, on Alaska Penin; Bristol Bay Low.
History
name reported in 1923 by R. H. Sargent, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); so called because the creek heads in Purple Crater.
