History
Translation by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1869 of the name "Os(trov) Prazdnichnoy," published by Sarichev (1826, map 16). In 1804, Lisianski (1814, p. 44) called it "Rocky Island." Baker (1906, p. 510) published the name "Praznik."
