Description
Cape Mansfield is located on Kenai Peninsula, at W end of Whidbey Bay, 20 mi. SE of Seward, Chugach Mts.
History
Named in 1908 by U. S. Grant, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), for Lieutenant Commander Henry Buckingham Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN). See sources in the Introduction.
