Pony Cove is located on E coast of Aialik Peninsula, 26 mi. S of Seward, Chugach Mts.
History
This was called Pony Bay by the 1928 US@C&GS field party. The generic was changed by Board on Geographic Names (BGN) because of smallness of feature.
