0.5 mi. SE of Cliff Bay, on W coast of Aialik Peninsula, 29 mi. S of Seward, Chugach Mts. 0.8 mile wide.
History
Named by the 1928 U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) field party "for the island in front of the cove."
