Description
Moose Creek is located flows SW to Taku River, 1.7 mi. E of outlet of Twin Glacier Lake and 25 mi. NE of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Local descriptive name reported in 1932 by B. D. Stewart, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), to have been given because "moose abound in the vicinity * * * (and this area) is the moose hunting ground of (the) natives and the people of Juneau."
