Yehring Creek is located heads in glacier, flows S to Taku River, 5 mi. SW of Canyon I. and 27 mi. NE of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Local name reported in 1932 by B. D. Stewart, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), named for Oscar Yehring, a settler who resided in the vicinity of the mouth of this stream
