Description
Auke Nu Creek is located flows SE to Auke Bay, 0.2 mi. W of village of Auke Bay and 11 mi. NW of Juneau, Coast Mts. 2.3 miles long.
History
Tlingit Indian name "Auk Nu," meaning "Auk Fort"; published by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1962. Auk is the name of a subdivision of the Tlingits who lived in the area.
