Bird Island is located in Favorite Channel, 2.4 mi. NW of Pearl Harbor and 20 mi. NW of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Named by Captain L. A. Beardslee, U.S. Navy (USN), in 1880 and published in 1883 on U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) Chart 728.
