Description
Entrance Point is located on N coast of Douglas I., in Fritz Cove, 1 mi. SE of tip of Mendenhall Peninsula and 7.4 mi. NW of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Descriptive name given in 1880 by Lieutenant F. M. Symonds, U.S. Navy (USN), who made surveys of the area. Published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1883 Coast Pilot (p. 173).
