Description
Beartrack River is located in Glacier Bay National Monument, heads in glacier, flows S to Beartrack Cove on Glacier Bay, 1.3 mi. E of Heartrack I. and 55 mi. NW of Juneau, St. Elias Mts. 15 miles long.
History
Named in 1939 by a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) field party; derived from the cove of the same name.
