Description
In Tongass National Forest on Chichagof Island, heads in a series of small lakes on the N slope of Tarn Mountain, flowing circuitously N to Idaho Inlet.
History
Named in 1955 by Rossman (1959, map), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because it flows through an area underlain by marble.
