Idaho Inlet is located on N coast of Chicagof I., trends SSE from Icy Strait, Alex. Arch. 9.5 miles long.
History
Named by Captain W. E. George for the excursion steamer Idaho which grounded near the head of the inlet (US@C&GS 1883, p. 190).
