Description
Boulder Island is located island 2 mi. N of Strawberry I., in Glacier Bay National Monument, 37 mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts.
History
Descriptive name given in 1942 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), "because of the island's extensive boulder flats exposed at low water."
