Description
Game Cove is located on W coast of Admiralty I., 22 mi. SW of Juneau, Alex. Arch. 0.6 mile wide.
History
So named in 1880 by Marcus Baker, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), because of the abundance of wildfowl, deer, and other game found here. Published in the 1883 Coast Pilot (p. 182).
