Description
Endicott River is located heads in unnamed glacier 2 mi. S of Mount Young, flows W and then mainly E to Lynn Canal, 25 mi. NW of Juneau, St. Elias Mts. 25 miles long.
History
Named in 1880 by U.S. Navy officers for William Crowninshield Endicott, 1826-1900, Secretary of War under President Grover Cleveland, 1885-89.
