Description
Matogak River is located heads at 591200N, 1604000W, flows SW to Hagemeister Strait, 10 mi. N of Hagemeister I., Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
Eskimo name obtained about 1947 from Frank Waskey, trader and prospector, by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). He states "This stream is well known to former prospectors as 'Matuwalk'."
