Description
Red Hills is located extend NW just N of Portage Arm, 10 mi. NW of Eagle Mtn. and 68 mi. NW of Dillingham, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
Descriptive name given in 1931 by members of U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) field survey party because "the top of the ridges appeared to be red in the sunlight."
