Description
Eagle Mountain is located between Lake Kulik and Nuyakuk Lake, 60 mi. NW of Dillingham, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
So named in 1932 by Gerald FitzGerald, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because of the "numerous bald eagles which were observed on the mountain during the summer of 1931."
