Description
Shadow Bay is located at W tip of Lake Chauekuktuli, 100 mi. SE of Bethel; Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
descriptive name suggested by Gerald FitzGerald, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in 1932 because "due to the high and steep slopes of the surrounding mountains this bay is almost always dark and in shadow."
