Description
Sunset Glacier is located in Mount McKinley National Park, trends NW from Scott Peak to its 1954 terminus at head of Thorofare River, Alaska Range
History
Named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1932. "This name was suggested as being appropriate in view of the fact that sunrise is the name of the glacier on the west fork (eastfork) of the Thorofare River" (Sunrise Creek).
