Contact Creek is located in Denali National Park (formerly Mount Mckinley National Park), flows NE to Thorofare River, 3.7 mi. SSE of Eielson Visitor Center, Alaska Range. 1 mile long.
History
Named in 1931 by J. C. Reed, Sr., U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), "as an important geologic contact lies along the valley of this creek."
