Description
Wortmanns is located on Richardson Highway 1.5 mi. NE of mouth of Bear Creek and 15 mi. E of Valdez, Chugach Mts.
History
Former roadhouse and mining camp reported 1908 by Moffit and Maddren (190 (1909, pl. 1) U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
