Description
Elrington Island is located extends NE-SW at SW end of Prince William Sound, between Latouche and Evans I., 20 mi. S of Chenega, Chugach Mts. 12 miles long.
History
Local name reported in 1905 by U. S. Grant, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); name derived from Point Elrington at the southern tip of the island.
