Schooner Rock is located in Hinchinbrook Entrance, off NE tip of Montague I., 45 mi. SW of Cordova, Chugach Mts.
History
So named "because of the rocks resemblance to a schooner," reported by F. Westdahl, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), while doing survey work aboard the steamer McArthur in the Hinchinbrook Island region 1902.
