Description
Rocky Bay is located on Kenai Peninsula, at N end of Montague I., extends NE to Prince William Sound, 38 mi. NE of Chenega, Chugach Mts.
History
Descriptive name reported in 1902 by Ferdinand Westdahl, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). "Named because of the rocks that are present along the shore line of the bay."
