Description
Falling Glacier is located heads at NW end of Sargent Ice Field, trends NW to E side of Kings Bay, 20 mi. S of Whittier, Chugach Mts. 3 miles long.
History
So named in 1910 by U. S. Grant, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because of its "falling" appearance.
