Pavlof Islands is located group of seven near SW end of Alaska Peninsula, Aleutian Range
History
Name reported by Father Veniaminov (1840, v. 1, p. 252) "Pavlovskie ostrova," or "Pavlov (Paul) Islands." The Aleut name was "Kadugin," meaning "narrow," according to Veniaminov.
