Description
NE tip of Cape Rozhnof, 9 mi. W of settlement of Port Moller, on Alaska Peninsula, Bristol Bay Low.
History
Named by W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), in 1882, but first applied to the northern tip of Deer I., which is now called Fawn Point. Point Edward is named for Captain Edward Perry Herendeen, who commanded the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) schooner Yukon, 1873-74 and 1880.
