Description
Heads at an unnamed spring in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, 0.5 km (0.3 mi) northeast of Mount Guyot, flows west to enter Middle Prong Little Pigeon River, 2 km (1.3 mi) southeast of Devils Den.
History
Named for Dr James G M Ramsey (1797-1884), local physician and historian who along with his family, settled in this area in the 1800s.
