Description

Heads in Great Smoky Mountains National Park near the southwest edge of Greenbrier Pinnacle, 1.6 km (0.9 mi) east northeast of Devils Den; flows south to enter Middle Prong Little Pigeon River, 7.4 km (4.6 mi) west of Mount Guyot.

History

Named for Dr. James G M Ramsey (1797-1884), local physician and historian who settled along with his family, in this area in the 1800s.
