Located in sec 9,T1N,R6E, Willamette Meridian. 0.81 km (0.5 mi) W of Oneonta Gorge and 1.1 km (0.7 mi) S of Oneonta overlooking the Columbia River.
History
Named for Henry Waespe (1891-1981), a prominent member of the Trails Club of Oregon who helped select the site and help build the Club's Nesika Lodge on this land. Current coordinate taken from the Multnomah Falls 1:24 scale map and not from the Bridal Veil 1:62 scale map.
