Description
Located 4.2 km (2.6 mi) east of Buzzard Rock and just northwest of Moohoo'oo Mountain, in the southeastern portion of Deschutes National Forest.
History
The shape of the ridge resembles the back of a badger. The word "Hoona" of Paiute Indian origin and reportedly translates to "badger". Badgers are common to the area and are important to the local Tribes.
