Located in Sesti Tgawaals Wildlife Area, at the N end of Howard Bay, on the W shore of Upper Klamath Lake, 16 km (10 mi) NW of Klamath Falls
History
The name is of Klamath origin and reportedly translates as “mountain standing on the end", referring to the view of Mount Shasta from the end of the point.
