Description
Heads just north of Rim Rock Ranch near the Deschutes-Jefferson County line, trends northeast to the Deschutes River; in Deschutes National Forest. Carries the waters of Whychus Creek.
History
The name is of Sahaptin origin and reportedly translates to "the place we cross the water".
