Northernmost of three large waterfalls on the Genesee River in Rochester, N.Y. The city lists its height as 85 feet.
History
"Lower Falls" is that name that has been applied to this waterfall for more than a century. No other name has been in common use during that time, and there are other public features, such as a city park, that incorporate it.
