Description

Heads on the E side of the Continental Divide, trends SE to Rio Gallina, 3.5 km (2.2 mi) ENE of Llaves (US-T121). Within flows Arroyo de las Yeguas, a/k/a Yeguas Draw.

History

This valley feature is named for the historical prevalence of wild mares (Spanish: yeguas and alternative spelling of 'lleguas').
