Description
Heads at the est edge of the City of Lake Elmo, within the Lake Elmo Regional Park Preserve, flows northeast then east to enter the west side of Eagle Point Lake.
History
The name is from the Irish word "fearn" meaning alder trees, and refers to the Irish heritage of many of the area's early settlers.
