On the SE tip of Boot Island, one of the Les Cheneaux Islands in Lake Huron, on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
History
Named for Father Andrew Piret (c. 1798-1875), Jesuit priest and missionary, and first permanent white settler in the area.
