Located in sec 9,T15S,R30E, Mount Diablo Meridian. In Sequoia National Park, just west of Silliman Creek and 1.6 km (1 mi) north-northwest of Willow Meadow. (US-T121)
History
Named for Professor Benjamin Silliman (1779-1864), chemist, geologist and physicist at Yale University. In 1802 he was appointed first professor of chemistry and natural history where he served until 1853. (US-T121) Missaplied as Cahoon Meadow in 1928.
