Located in sec 21,T30N,R5E, Mount Diablo Meridian. On Hot Springs Creek, 1.3 km (0.8 mi) southeast of Bench Lake and 1.3 km (0.8 mi) northwest of Drake Lake; in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
History
The variant name of Devils Kitchen Hot Springs may have been compiled from the 1927 U.S. Board on Geographic Names (USBGN) work card which could easily be misconstrued to where one might believe the name to erroneously include the generic term "hot springs".
