Description
Heads in the Sierra Nevada at the junction of Middle Fork San Joaquin River and North Fork San Joaquin River, flows southwest to the San Joaquin Valley, then northwest to join the Sacramento River to form Suisun Bay 4.8 km (3 mi) northeast of Pittsburg and 60.8 km (38 mi) northeast of San Francisco.
