Description
Heads at the junction of Middle Fork Sacramento River and South Fork Sacramento River about 8.8 km (5.5 mi) west-southwest of the town of Mount Shasta, flowing generally southward to join the San Joaquin River to form Suisun Bay about 4.8 km (3 mi) northeast of Pittsburg and 60.8 km (38 mi) northeast of San Francisco.
