Description
It is the westernmost cliff of three rising at Canyon Lake (US-T121).
History
This cliff was struck by lightning in 1898 and left a very visible mark. Thus, the name 'Ittindi', the Apache Indian word for 'lightning', was applied to the feature. This area was formerly known as Morman Flat until it was inudated by the creation of Canyon Lake (US-T121).
